Adventure Motorcycle Tours

Namibia Adventure Motorcycle Tours

(Rating: Moderate combination of sealed surface and gravel)

Visiting Namibia and falling in love with the country is set to happen, especially when riding a motorcycle. Riding in Namibia, a vast country with wide horizons and miles of never-ending gravel roads, allows us various routes to choose from. Our two preferred motorcycle tours will take you from Cape Town in the south along the Cape West Coast, to central Namibia. Our first few days in Namibia we visit unique natural wonders such as the Fish River Canyon, enjoy the splendor of the Namib Desert, visit Swakopmund with its moon landscape, view the ancient rock paintings at Twyfelfontein and enjoy a safari in Etosha Game Reserve. Depending on the motorcycle tour you prefer, the highlights will differ as well as the end destination.

Victoria Falls Overland Motorcycle Safari

- Johannesburg to Cape Town: 16 Days

(Rating: Moderate combination of sealed surface and gravel)

Our sixteen day overland journey is the ultimate motorcycle adventure tour. We ride from Johannesburg via Botswana to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. En route we visit the Makgadikgadi Pans as we head towards Kasane. Vic Falls should satisfy our adrenaline need with an array of activities to enjoy. We continue towards the Caprivi Strip and make our way down south through central Namibia towards the iconic Spitzkoppe Mountain. Our motorcycle travels continue from Swakopmund along the Namib Desert towards the feral horses at Aus and Fish River Canyon. The last few days we traverse the Cape West Coast of South Africa.

Garden Route Adventure Tour

- Cape Town to Cape Town: 10 Days

(Rating: Moderate to difficult - a combination of sealed surface and gravel)

This shorter, but equally exiting motorcycle adventure tour can be enjoyed down the Garden Route. We visit the Cape of Goodhope and Table Mountain before crossing into the Overberg region. We continue to Addo National Park outside Port Elizabeth whilst enjoying the un-spoilt ruggedness of the Tsitsikamma Coastline and Baviaanskloof Mega Reserve. Here we can encounter a variety of wildlife including recently reintroduced rhino's. Upon returning we explore the vastness of the Karoo before visiting "the Hell", an isolated valley famous for all the wrong reasons.
